Optimizing Mobile Pages

Google Mobile Optimized Pages

Google has come out with a new series of instructions (September 14th, 2016) on how to mobile optimize your blog and news and events, and your mobile website optimization across your entire website.

Hopefully, like a smart person, you are using WordPress, in which case there is an extremely nifty plugin (plugin found here) for the new Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP, for short), which takes you through the optimization process super easy.

Not Using WordPress? Here are Some Instructions

If you are not using WordPress, below are the instructions on how to mobile-optimize your site to get it AMP’ed up to speed in today’s mobile-optimized world.

It’s a great time to assess which of your AMP pages Google has discovered and indexed by using Research Console if you’ve recently executed Accelerated Mobile Pages on your website.

Search Games Console is a free service that makes it possible to maintain and monitor the existence in Google Search of your sites, including any Accelerated Mobile Webpages. Doing so can help you understand which of your AMP webpages are suitable to show in search results, although you don’t have to sign up for Research Console for your AMP pages to be included in Google Search results.

To get started using Search Google Console, validate the ownership of your sites and create a free account or sign in here.
