How Do You Find What Google Thinks You Are?
Google collects much information about your online activity to provide you with more relevant search results and ads. Based on this data, you can check your Google Account settings if you’re curious about what Google “thinks” about you.
Here’s how to do it:
- Visit Google’s Ad Settings page. You might need to sign in to your Google account.
- Here you will find information about how Google categorizes you for ad personalization, including inferred interests, gender, age, etc.
This information is based on your search history, YouTube watches history, and other interactions with Google services. If you see something you don’t like, you can turn off ad personalization or manually edit your information.
Again, it’s important to remember that these settings could change over time, and my information is accurate up to 2021. For the most accurate information, use Google’s current settings and policies.
